Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Details / requirements:
Centre for Mental Health and Counselling – Nepal (CMC-Nepal), an NGO working in mental health and psychosocial field, is inviting applications for the following position required in the GBV Prevention and Response Project implemented in Okhaldhunga in funding support of UNFPA/SDC.
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer (1 full-time position, based in Okhaldhunga with field visits in project implemented location) is responsible for coordination and monitoring of the project activities implemented by the district partners of UNFPA. The person in this position maintains a functional reporting system with CMOs of UNFPA at the district level and works in close coordination with CMOs for programmatic, monitoring and reporting purpose. Requirements:
Bachelor degree in social work, management or relevant subjects having experience working in the field of gender based violence and women issues
Having project management skills with emphasis on project monitoring, coordination with different actors and reporting
Demonstrate knowledge and skills in supporting local cooperatives, GBV watch groups, girls circle and couples in implementation of their action plan for the prevention of GBV
Able to prepare monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plan in coordination with the concerned partners and implement it at district level
Demonstrate ability to work in multi-sectoral approach and establish harmonious and effective working relationships with the partners
Having good skills of analysing M&E data, solicit feedback, writing case studies and reports and analyze the report and information to draw out learning and implications of the project interventions
Salaries and benefits: As per project agreement between UNFPA and CMC-Nepal
Duration of the contract is for 5 months with possible extention.
