Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Director

Pact , a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC, is an international NGO that has worked throughout South and Southeast Asia for over 40 years. In Nepal, we improve the ability of communities to better direct their own development through technical assistance, material and financial support, as well as capacity building for local government bodies and CSOs. Pact plans to bid on an opportunity to strengthen Nepal’s civil society and is looking for highly competent staff for the following positions to be based in Kathmandu. This position is contingent on award of funding.

Position: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Director –Nepali citizens only

Responsibility: The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Director will oversee the design and execution of project research activities, coordinating between research teams and end users, and facilitating research capacity development activities. S/he will manage the project Performance Monitoring Plan, develop relevant M&E tools, and provide technical training for Nepali CSO partners. Under his/her guidance, the project will utilize monitoring data to maximize program impact.
