VACANCY

As per the proposed partnership with CARE Nepal to implement third year of Hariyo Ban Program II, NEEDS Nepal hereby calls for application for the following position. This position is subject to grant agreement.

Position:   Monitoring and Evaluation Associate (M&E Associate)

Project:     Hariyo Ban Program II

Quantity:  1 (One) – Reserved for candidate from women and/or marginalized community

Base: Mahendranagar/Kohalpur

Required Qualification: A minimum of Intermediate Degree (Bachelor degree preferred) or equivalent in forestry, environmental science, or related discipline with at least 2 years of working experience in Monitoring and Evaluation in the field of climate change adaptation, gender equality and social inclusion, natural resource management governance will be an added advantage.

Job Summary: The M&E Associate is primarily responsible to assist the program team for systematic monitoring, evaluation and learning of the Hariyo Ban Program as per the partnership of NEEDSNepal with CARE Nepal. S/he will be responsible for assisting the project team to develop the project tracker and guide for the timely implementation and reporting of the program activities. S/he will be maintaining and reporting the bi-weekly updates, database system, activity status updates, and draft semi-annual and annual performance reports in close coordination with the concerned program team within NEEDS Nepal and CARE Nepal. Similarly, s/he will be responsible for documenting and sharing the good practices and success stories from the field. S/he will carry out adequate field monitoring to ensure that the program interventions are implemented as per program development qualities, set indicators and targets.
