Introduction to Sales Capability

Sales Capability develops and implements frameworks, tools, programs and processes working with Regions and Areas to “connect” the internal and external Sales Force in Nokia. It enables a consistent sales culture and way of working across all of the different sales roles, to ensure they have the capability and engagement to maximize Nokia Sales and Financial performance.

Sales Capability was created to support Nokia’s evolutionary business needs. The increasing levels of competition on the market means we need to deliver a complete sales force with an end-to-end experience. 

  • Increase the competency & Nokia loyalty of the Retail Assistants to enable effective selling of Nokia products & services across all channels
  • Ensure sales readiness of Nokia retail value chain to maximize sales of new solutions (including devices, services and accessories) through timely and consistent training execution
  • Build the capability of Nokia FF through structured competency development and motivation initiatives driving highest volume/value share at retail
  • Deliver value to trade partners through tailored programs to that increase the competency and proficiency to sell Nokia products & services while extending overall Nokia Academy reach

Function description/ purpose

As a Nokia Academy Trainer you will use your training facilitation, coaching and management skills to strongly support the Nokia Academy program deployment within your Local Sales Office.

Reports to

You will report to the Sales Capability Head & Master Trainer within your Area

Tasks

Enable Learning:

  • You Build capability and motivate positive behaviors of target audiences such as FF, Promoters, Nokia Retail Reps
  • Transmit Nokia Knowledge and Passion via memorable and immersive experiences
  • Tailor learning experiences according to audience and desired outcome

You have a strong business acumen:

  • Given the thorough knowledge and understanding you have of the business, you are keen in understanding and dealing with different business situation

Self-Development:

  • you take ownership and direction for your continuous development, making use of the learning tools Nokia has in place for trainer development

Represent Nokia during your assignments:

  • You embody Nokia values and the trainer mindset in everything you do
  • You comply with Nokia guidelines and Nokia values and act as a brand Ambassador in everything you do
  • Perform administrative tasks:
  • You maintain and submit training documents
  • You keep control of your calendar in a proactive way
  • You analyze the training needs of your audiences and share your observations with your Area Sales Capability Head and with your Master trainer
