Details / requirements:
One of our clients, an NGO working in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) sector require Medical Officers for Hetauda and Pokhara area. Below please find further details.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Screening:
*Examine all the clients
*Ensure necessary treatment & prescribe necessary drugs
*Ensure quality care while providing service to the clients being within organization management and Nepal Medical Standard
*Be responsible for proper recording of clients’ medical profile details
*Provide Family Planning Services as per need of the clients
OT Procedures:
*Will be responsible for maintaining medical standard as per the organization’s medical protocols and National Medical Standard to ensure the high quality care services
*Will advise the Staff Nurse/ANM on monthly drug requirements and see that necessary drugs are maintained in the OT. Support the Clinic Coordinator in controlling the drug consumption
*Will be responsible for ensuring that MSP register is properly maintained and duly signed by the concerned persons on dayâ€toâ€day basis
Training:
*Train clinical and other staff as per requirement
*Follow and maintain the medical protocols of MSI partnership Manual and Nepal Medical Standard as per the necessity. Develop training curriculum for different level training if required
Liaison
*Working in liaison with the Centre Inâ€charge under the guidance of organization’s Management
Others:
*Research work as required by the organization for the improvement of services
*Be responsible to center management and co-operate with the technical staff
*May be required to assess the performance of technical staff at the Centre
*May be required to go to field to conduct FP/RH camps as per the requirement of organization
*Any other related works requested by organization Head Office management
Skills:
*Proven ability to train others
*Fluent English and Nepali language

Qualification:
MBBS
Experience:
*3 years of professional work experience in the field of Family Planning
