Local Governance Training Consultant –Short Term

(District based)

Local Governance Training Consultant is responsible to support and strengthen the technical management and operational capacity of different stakeholders through training and capacity building activities.

 

  • Support to rollout of Multi-sector Nutrition Plan through Strengthened Local Governance. 
  • Prepare training plan, collect and design necessary materials and support MSNP Training facilitation. 
  • Orient districtteamandPNGOfor Multisector Governance and social mobilization.
  •  Facilitate orientation on integrated nutrition to elected local level representatives and program focal points.
  •  Assist SM/FS to identify local resources for the use of food security, nutrition needs of vulnerable 1000 days’ family members.
  •  Sensitize on importance of Nutrition and facilitate to integrate nutrition agendasin local level periodic plan
  •  Keep track of the local grants received and appropriately used by beneficiaries
  •  Prepare monthly and final report.
  • A minimum Bachelor’s degree in public health/social science/health education from a recognized university.
  • At least 5 years of training facilitation experience in health/ nutrition and food security, livelihood social mobilization and governance related programs
  • Experience in working with Local Governance and Community Development related programs
  • Having sound understanding of health and local governance system of Nepal
  • Willing to travel to rural settings frequently
