Position: Junior Business Development Officer (Jr. BDO)

Duties and Responsibilities
· Collaborates with customer-facing groups with Sr. BDO to develop strategies for identifying potential customers and moving them through the sales funnel.
· Schedules meetings with potential customers to establish relationships and schedule sales calls.
· Performs customer needs analyses (e.g., clarifies distribution needs, etc.) and presents solution to them.
· Utilizes extensive knowledge of competitor's product offerings to effectively negotiate with customers.
- Collaborates with Sr. BDO to gain additional information about business opportunities with customers and prospects who use other carriers.
· Organizes scheduled customer appointments and follow-ups to ensure effective time management through sales calls and others.
· Documents relevant customer information in proper database to ensure customer issues, requests, and needs are retained for future reference.
· Recaps sales activities (e.g., customer information activity, number of sales calls made, etc.) for immediate manager to ensure non-sales performance accountability metrics are tracked.
· Prepare daily sales progress report and monthly sales report.
