Details / requirements:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Build new features into the existing web application.
- Develop web apps related to TV and media using WebOS and related technology.
- Develop UI and UX enhancements to all web applications.
- Work with a team of developers to build intuitive web applications that turn everyday tasks into delightful magical experiences.
- Take ownership and pride in your work and take it through the entire software development life cycle.
- Take a data driven approach to developing UI/UX in web applications.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience working with JavaScript and advanced JavaScript libraries
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Strong Javascript and jQuery skills.
- Working experience with library like AngularJS or ReactJS
- Experience with Node.js is plus
- Experience with EnyoJS is plus
- Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Demonstrated experience creating and consuming both SOAP and REST services
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
- Demonstrated experience working with JavaScript and advanced JavaScript libraries
