Position: Sales and Marketing Intern
We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of sales and marketing.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Intern will be responsible for assisting the staff with sales and marketing activities including, but not limited to
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers
- Visiting potential customers for new business
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
- Gathering market and customer information
- Maintains excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
- Attend company functions and networking events
- Assist and facilitate staff as necessary - whenever needed
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new clients and ideas
