We were among the first INGOs on the ground and operational following the earthquake, providing medical treatment and essential supplies. Our technical staff on the ground now includes physicians, nurses, surgeons, as well as specialists in water, sanitation and hygiene, mental health and psycho-social support and nutrition.

Details / requirements:

SCOPE OF WORK:

The intern will work in M&E unit under supervision of Program Director, line managed by Senior M&E Assistant. S/he will provide support to M&E team in the process of data collection, data entry and support in management of the monitoring and evaluation reports. The person will also be supporting in internal and external evaluation of International Medical Corps’ program as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct field visit and collect data for the purpose of monitoring and evaluation.
  • Carry out translation/ transcription of the discussions made from focus group discussion during evaluation
  • Provide support in research, data analysis and knowledge management
  • Provide support in the preparation of reporting documents
  • Provide support in maintaining program monitoring reports and documents
  • Any other relevant work releted to the M&E section.

MINIMUM EDUCATION and QUALIFICATION:

  • Studying or completed undergraduate level (Bachelors degree in Development Studies,  Social work or any other relevant field).
  • Ready to work with a diverse team with values of commitment and integrity
  • Proficient in written and verbal English.
  • Storing analytical and critical thinking skill with willingess to learn and gain experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation are encouraged to apply.
