Organization Background

PHASE Nepal is a not for profit NGO established in 2006 by a group of development professionals dedicated to supporting poor communities in remote areas of Nepal. For the last 10 years PHASE Nepal has been implementing Health, Education and Livelihoods improvement programmes in Humla, Bajura, Mugu, Gorkha, Sindhupalchok and Kavrepalanchok districts.  Currently PHASE has over 150 staff working for different projects including earthquake recovery and reconstruction. We are currently in need of

PHASE Nepal is currently looking for experienced candidates for the following positions:

1. Position: Health Supervisor

Duration: Fixed Term

Duty Station: In any four of PHASE working districts

Salary: Npr. 25,000- 30,000 / month

Qualification & Experiences: Should have completed Health Assistant or Staff Nurse Degree with at least 2 years of working experience of handling similar responsibilities. Must have good command in English and Nepali language with knowledge of Microsoft office packages and reporting skills.

2. Position: Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)

Duration: Fixed Term

Duty Station: PHASE Project Districts

Required Number: Few

Salary: Npr. 20,000-30,000/month

The JTA will report to Project Manager through livelihood supervisor, is responsible for field level project implementation focusing on distributing agricultural inputs (seed, irrigation materials, plastic sheets, poultry, goat etc) to the beneficiaries farmers, identifying/forming/reforming farmers groups, conducting training to the local groups, forming saving and credit groups and supporting those groups in saving and credit activities. 

Required Experience and Qualification: Technical SLC (TSLC) in Plant Production or Animal Husbandry with minimum of 2 years experiences as JTA. Experience in community mobilization activities will be an added advantage.

3. Position: ANM

Duration: Fixed Term

Duty Station: PHASE Project Districts

Required Number: Few

Salary: Npr. 20,000- 30,000 /-

Qualification: At least ANM passed with 2 years' working experience in community health programs. (Candidates who have worked independently in government sub-health-posts or independently running sub-health post are given high priority.)
