Health Supervisor, ANM, JTA

Organization Background 

PHASE Nepal is a not for profit NGO established in 2006 by a group of development professionals dedicated to supporting poor communities in remote areas of Nepal. For the last 11 years PHASE Nepal has been implementing Health, Education and Livelihoods improvement programmes in Humla, Bajura, Mugu, Gorkha, Sindhupalchok and Kavrepalanchok districts.  Currently PHASE has over 150 staff working for different projects including earthquake recovery and reconstruction. We are currently in need of :

1. Position: Health Supervisor – Few

DUTY STATION: PHASE Project districts.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION: Should have completed Health Assistant or Staff Nurse Degree with at least 2 years of working experience in similar capacity. Must have good command in English and Nepali language with knowledge of Microsoft office package and reporting skill.

SALARY: NPR. 25,000 – 30,000 /- per month 

2. Position:  ANM

DURATION: Fixed Term

DUTY STATION:  PHASE Project Districts

REQUIRED NUMBER: Few

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: At least ANM passed with 2 years' working experience in community health programs. (Candidates who have worked independently in government sub-health-posts or independently running sub-health post are given high priority.) 

SALARY: NPR. 20,000- 30,000 /- per month

3. Position: Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)

DUTY STATION: PHASE Project Districts

SALARY: 20,000-30,000/- per month

REQUIRED NUMBER: Few

The JTA will report to the Livelihood Supervisor and Project Manager, is responsible for distributing agricultural inputs (seed, irrigation materials, plastic sheets, poultry, goat etc) in the community, identifying/forming/reforming farmers groups, conducting training to the local groups, forming saving and credit groups and supporting those groups in mobilizing saving and credit activities. 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Technical SLC (TSLC) in Plant Production or Animal Husbandry with minimum of 2 years experiences as JTA. Experience in community mobilization activities will be an added advantage.
