Health Supervisor,ANM and Trainee ANM

PHASE Nepal is a not for profit NGO established in 2006 by a group of development professionals dedicated to supporting poor communities in remote areas of Nepal. For the last 12 years PHASE Nepal has been implementing Health, Education and Livelihoods improvement programmes in Humla, Bajura, Mugu, Gorkha and Sindhupalchok districts.  Currently, PHASE Nepal's projects health, education, livelihoods and reconstruction are funded by the number of institutional and individual donors from different countries. PHASE has over 140 staff working on different projects. PHASE Nepal is currently in need of the following staff member:

1. Position:  Health Supervisor

Duty Station:  Project area based in one of the government health posts in Gorkha, Sindhupalchok, Humla, Bajura or Mugu districts. 

Qualifications: Health Assistant Course passed.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience of working in clinical setting seeing patients, HMIS recording, reporting and documentation. Candidates who have worked with the government hospitals, PHC or health posts and having a good computer skill will be given priority.

Salary and Benefits: NPR 31,517 /- per month(basic salary), plus 10% provident fund after three months of the probation period, facility of festival bonus on pro-rata basis plus medical facility and insurance.  

Responsibilities: The HA will work together with the government health workers in the respective health posts or health clinics. This will involve both curative as well as preventive health services. They will provide health education sessions to the beneficiaries of the catchment area of the health post/clinic.

2. Position:  ANM  

Duration: Fixed Term

Duty Station:  PHASE Project Districts

Qualification and Experience:  At least ANM passed with 2 years' working experience in community health programs. (Candidates who have worked independently in government sub-health-posts or independently running sub-health post are given high priority.) 

Salary and Benefits:  NPR. 24,138 /- per month, plus 10% provident fund after three months of the probation period, facility of festival bonus on pro-rata basis plus medical facility and insurance. 

3. Position: Trainee ANM

Duty Station: PHASE Project Districts

Required Number: Few

Salary: NPR. 10,000 -20,000 /- per month

Qualification and Experience: Should have passed ANM course with minimum six months of work experience in community health programs.
