Tulasi Meher UNESCO Club, Gorkha partner of OXFAM is working in Gorkha District on recovery of earthquake affected family in Bungkot, Ghairung, Taklung and GMN-12, 13. The project is supporting them on WaSH, EFSVL, Shelter, Gender protection and DRR/CCA. To implement the project activities with effectiveness in project areas the organization is looking for some energetic, self motivated and experienced staffs on following post. Position: Gender Officer

QUALIFICATION: Bachelor Degree in Gender studies, Law, Political Sciences, Social Sciences or related field with four years of relevant experience at the national or international level in the field of gender related projects with additional understanding of a crisis/conflict prevention and recovery approach.

RESPONSIBILITY: The Gender Officer will work on integrating and mainstreaming gender across the crisis response interventions in project area and provide expert advice on this to the respective field offices. S/he will also work on issues of inclusion of women in an effort to ensure that interventions are sensitive to these dynamics on the ground.
