Financial Education Specialist

An INGO working with disadvantaged women seeks highly motivated and qualified candidates to develop financial literacy programs for disadvantaged communities.  The Financial Education Specialist will work with local microfinance partners and international staff to develop financial education programs for clients.  The position is for 2 years and requires frequent travel (40%) to the field. 

This position requires candidates that have:

·         In-depth knowledge of microfinance and a minimum of 3 years work experience. 

·         Experience developing curriculum and training for microfinance clients.

·         Experience with nonformal education an additional asset.

·         Bachelors degree in a related field.

·         Good communication, networking, co-ordination and leadership skills.

·         Good command of both written and spoken English and computer skills.
