JOB DESCRIPTION:

Finance and Accounts:

• Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting procedures and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets and other financial control functions to senior managers or Managing Director.
• Maintaining accurate financial record and advice on financial/accounting issues involving business activities to ensure proper compliance with laws and accounting practices.
• Preparation of quarterly and annual financial results of the Company.
• Handling of statutory and internal audits, liaising with auditors and company executives for informational, auditing and operational use.
• Computation & filing of VAT, Excise/ Income Tax Returns of the Company
• Establishes and carries out an accounting procedure to reduce the organization's tax debt.
• Preparation of Annual budget of the company and monitoring it with actual income and expenses. Develops and administers budgetary policy and procedures.
• Co-ordinate the financial planning and budget process, and analyze and correct estimates.
• Should able to make chart of all transaction dates thro LL,TT,DD, of overseas for their  expected date of dispatch to landing date.
• Should chase the suppliers for tracking the date of L/C open, port Dispatch except local party and congestion timing, expected date of Kolkatta port landing
• Should have knowledge about LC L/C, TT, BL,PK LIST and other banking related
• Should chase bank personnel for the LC/TR/Interest rate/renew/proposal etc.
• Oversee Finance, Accounting and Taxation Functions
• Control of accounts and cash management procedures.
• Effective & Efficient A/C Receivable Management.
• Supervision of Maintenance and finalization of books of accounts, and Balance Sheet preparation
• Evaluate the expenditures control system which ensures that vouchers processed are matched and completed, transactions are correctly recorded and posted, payrolls are duly prepared, travel claims and other entitlements are duly processed.
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and liaise with other departments to obtain the estimate of their cash requirements
• Ensure development and implementation of effective receivable management
• Monitor non-recovered Accounts Receivable items, identify the causes of non-recovery.

Inventory

• Oversee the Inventory management System only from the accounting and financial point of view and give feed back to the Managing Director in periodic basis.
• Periodically verifying and evaluating the stock and reconciliation of records and submitting the quarterly report with recommendations of the same by coordinating with the concerned department head.

Others

• Liaising with banks, financial institutes and government bodies involving business activities to ensure proper compliance with laws and accounting practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management and across organization with excellent communication and peer leadership abilities.
• Should be proficient in computers with strong accounting knowledge & experience with proven analytical and problem solving skills.
• High initiative and self motivated, ability to work independently.
• Update oneself, maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant prevailing HMG’s policies and procedures directly affecting the company, primarily relating to Income Tax, VAT, Excise, tariffs and duties, licenses & restrictions and its amendments.

QUALIFICATION:  

• Preferred Master degree with 3 or above years experience in trading company (MUST)

OTHER REQUIREMENT:

• Should possess own medium of transportation.
• Handling situation in a balanced way,
• Should be able to work in pressure and deadlines.
• Should have good corresponding skills in English and Nepali (Nepal and English both).

REMUNERATION:

• No bar for deserving candidates
