One Heart Worldwide (OHW) is an International Non-Governmental Organization that has been working in the area of Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH) since 2011. OHW works with local communities and local health service providers to develop a culturally appropriate Network of Safety around mothers and infants, by raising awareness, teaching good practices, and distributing essential equipment to ensure that mothers and infants survive delivery and the first months of life.

One Heart World-Wide is an International non-governmental organization that has been working in the area of maternal and child health for the past ten years. OHW has been in Nepal since 2010 supporting MOH to strengthen district health system to improve maternal and neonatal health services across entire districts where it worked. We are implementing OHW’s approach of Network of Safety for mothers and newborns in nine districts and is in the process of scaling in the newer districts in the coming years.

OHW is seeking result-oriented Nepali professionals for the following Position.

Position: Field Monitor

Number of vacancy: 35

Location: Dhading, Sindupalchowk, Khotang, Bhojpur, Taplejunj, Tehrathum and Panchthar

Reports to: District Coordinator

Contract: Short -term

Work period: About 30 days during November and December, 2017. 

Job responsibilities: Overall responsibility of the field monitor is to collect information about maternal and neonatal deaths. Field monitors will coordinate with health facility, organize meetings with local stakeholders at health facility, prepare lists of death of women, neonates and infants separately and verify death by home visit.  

Qualification

  • At least intermediate in General Medicine or Nursing.

Mobility

  • Field monitors need to travel regularly in rural hilly area
