Expression of Interest

Mercy Corps Nepal works to build the absorptive, adaptive and transformative potential of vulnerable individuals and communities across Nepal. The goal is attained through a systems based approach to market development, financial services, disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation and youth engagement. Mercy Corps began its operation in Nepal in 2005, with projects focusing on the sectors of economic and food security; climate, natural resource and disaster risk management; youth engagement; with the inclusion of women and disadvantaged groups as important cross-cutting themes throughout each intervention area.

Mercy Corps has been implementing European Commission funded Switch Asia Project: Enhancing Sustainability and Profitability of the Carpet and Pashmina Industries in the Kathmandu Valley (EC-SWITCH) since January 2014. The project objective is to increase resource efficiency, profitability, and sustainability of Carpet and Pashmina sector of Kathmandu Valley, Nepal.  The project is requesting for expression of interest from individual experts/consulting agency to carry out the external evaluation of the project. 

Interested and experienced organizations/firms may download an electronic scope of work and tender documents from nepal.mercycorps.org and submit the proposal in a sealed envelope with subject: “Proposal for External Evaluation” not later than 4:00 p.m. on/by June 27, 2017 in the following address.  Please register your submission of proposal at the front desk of Mercy Corps.
