Details / requirements:

We are looking for:

 Executive Chef

  • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
  • Manage and train employees regularly.
  • Review staff levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
  • Maintaining/raising the food’s profit margins.
  • Regularly estimate and review food requirements and food cost.
  • Monitor and control stock levels.
  • Ensure correct stock rotation procedures are followed.
  • Estimate costs and ensure all purchases come within budget.
  • Establish controls to minimize food and supply waste and theft.
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
  • Coordinate and involve directly on purchase of needed goods and supplies.
  • Take care of the kitchen’s accounts.
  • Ability to solve problems, take decision and motivate team.
  • Perform administrative duties.
  • Periodically visit and monitor sites.
  • Support safe work habits and a safe working environment. Follow HACCP standards.
  • To adhere to company policies and procedures in regard to checks, food labeling and dating, cleaning schedules and hygiene regulations at all times and ensuring that all the records are updated and kept.
  • To protect the Gross profit % through the control of wastage, stock rotation and portion control.
  • To recognize the importance of good stock management and control.
  • To remove and hazards and make safe the kitchen or equipment and report problems to the management.
  • To understand the restaurant’s health and safety policies and carry out the responsibilities effectively.
  • To be fully aware and adhere to sickness and accident report procedures.
  • To comply with all safety requirements relating to chemicals and cleaning of equipment used in the kitchen.
  • To attend all meeting and training sessions in which you are required.
  • To comply with any reasonable request from the Board Members.

Qualification : 

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree holder in Hotel Management or related field
  • Experience for at least 3-4 years in related field.
