Christian Aid (www.christianaid.org.uk) is a UK and Ireland based development and humanitarian organization works to support sustainable development, stop poverty, support civil society and provide disaster relief in South America, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Christian Aid works where the need is greatest, regardless of religion, nationality or race. Christian Aid has supported humanitarian and development partners globally to eradicate poverty, fight climate change for more than 65 years. Christin Aid works with over 600 local partner organizations in 50 countries around the world to help the world's poorest communities. Christian Aid's headquarters are in London and it organizes the UK's largest door-to-door collection, Christian Aid Week, which takes place in May each year. Christian Aid has been working in South Asia across Nepal, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh for more than 50 years with countries offices in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan and South Asia regional office in New Delhi. Christian Aid brings substantial expertise in emergency response, recovery and rehabilitation work, DRR, social Inclusion and Resilient Livelihoods with proven ability to deliver emergency food security and livelihood restoration support through its local partners. CA has a longstanding partnership with donors such as European Commission, ECHO, DFID, Irish Aid, USAID etc. for supporting humanitarian responses in South and South-East Asia region, for major emergencies. Christian Aid has contributed significantly to the regional resilience and humanitarian actions working closely with other institutions of excellence.
Details / requirements:
Christian Aid (CAID) is an international humanitarian and development organization addressing poverty and responding to emergencies since 1945, currently across 37 countries, supporting the poor and marginalized people irrespective of their beliefs, sexuality, gender and ethnicity. In the aftermath of the 2015 mega earthquakes, CAID is reaching out to the affected and vulnerable people through humanitarian assistance across Nepal. CAID is registered with Social Welfare Council (SWC) as an INGO, has a registered office in Lalitpur (Nepal), is a member of the Association of the International NGOs in Nepal (AIN) and ACT Alliance Nepal Forum.”
CAID invites sealed bids from the interested and qualified audit firms who are duly registered in Government of Nepal for conducting an annual financial audit for fiscal year 2074/75 (2017/18). The detailed TOR can be obtained by sending email to Nepal-info@christian-aid.org.

In responding to this request, the following information shall be submitted:
- Details of firm’s experience in providing auditing services to companies in the not-for-profit sector, especially international organisations;
- Audit Report for Fiscal Year 2073-74 along with tax clearance letter
- Describe how your firm will approach the audit of the organisation;
- Describe how and why your firm is different from other firms being considered, and why our selection of your firm as an independent auditor is the best decision we could make;
- Include fee proposal to complete the services outlined in this request, with whatever guarantees can be given regarding increases in future years.
- Include estimated on site time required to complete the services.
- Provide at least 3 references from not-for-profit organisations that you’ve conducted audit for in the recent years and are still your clients;
- Provide names and resumes of key personnel that will conduct the audit.
Proposals, which shall not be more than 3 pages in length (not including references and resumes) shall be submitted no later than July 25, 2018 to CAID, Lalitpur,
Only shortlisted firms will be contacted for further process. Canvassing at any stage of the process shall lead to automatic disqualification of the application. CAID reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals without assigning any reason and decision of CAID will be final.
