District Coordinators

This is a field based position. The candidate must have a masters degree in public health, social science or relevant discipline with more than four years experience or bachelors degree with more than six years experience in implementing community based social marketing campaigns / programs / projects. The candidate must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of working in communities having experience in community mobilization and promoting behaviors and products/services. The applicant should have experience in program planning and also in managing program implementation activities at all levels of the district. The applicant should have an understanding of various community based social structures that can be mobilized to achieve project goals. The district coordinator must have experience in in developing and implementing program workplans. The applicant must also have excellent coordination and management skills in implementing all the program workshops / meetings / trainings related to the program in the districts.

Specific Skills Required for this position:

ü  Proven track record of independently managing programs / campaigns at the field level

ü  Experienced in managing large teams in the position of team leader

ü  Experienced in the planning, strategizing and implementation of field level activities

ü  Experienced in monitoring and supervising program activities

ü  Excellent communication skills required with various levels of the program implementation structure 

ü  Ability to coordinate with various program stakeholders (private, Govt. and Non govt.)

ü  Ability to facilitate district level, community level orientation meetings and workshops

ü  In depth understanding of social mobilization and awareness of community based structures

ü  Exceptional  understanding of Behavior change communication and community based promotion activities

ü  Well versed with using Microsoft office software
