TITILE: DevOps Engineer

GrowByData is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team! An individual will be responsible to work throughout the full infrastructure, including design, architecture, communication, monitoring, availability, scaling, failover, and recovery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing on the AWS platform design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes

2. Data backup: Make sure the jobs are running properly and data are being backed up to the backup location as per the schedule settings. Checklist will be provided for our custom services

• Periodic Data Backup
• Data Archival

3. Administration and Security:

• Periodic monitoring for system security like DDOS attack and notify concerned stake holders about the issue and possible measures to prevent it
• Provide necessary access to the system
• Handle on-demand availability of the server by halting the service during agreed upon period and make it available accordingly

4. Network Infrastructure Implementation:

• Creating a VPN setting to make all the systems available within same subnet.
• Creating/Modifying/Deleting accesses to the VPN as per the request from the system owner

5. Guide the team to implement system/server level security as per the best practice guidelines

REQUIREMENT:

• Excellent system-level thinking and the ability to move up and down the stack
• Experience in IT infrastructure support role (systems, Windows and Linux servers, virtualization knowledge, network, and firewall essentials) preferred
• Experience with administering active directory, group policy a must
• Working knowledge on administering database like MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB a must
• Experience on administering web servers like IIS, Apache, Nginx a must
• Willingness to work off-hours preferred

EDUCATION: Minimum: B.E Computer Science or equivalent

EXPERIENCE: 2 years of experience in above mentioned domain would be preferred and favorable
