DataQC Manager

The Job:

Data quality is the backbone of CloudFactory, we are inventing Cloud Labor and much of it is hinged on trust. Our DataQC team is in charge of increasing trust but working closely with our Project Management teams to ensure that we’re meeting our SLAs provided by our clients. The DataQC Manager will be guiding the DataQC team with technical improvements on our worker feedback systems, increase visibility to worker reputation scores and driving our small DataQC team into a repeatable and scalable Quality Control machine. The job doesn’t end with only DataQC, we’ve aligned ourselves in a way that creates a dependency on multiple teams of people to ensure we’re working together to invent Cloud Labor.

You need to have enough technical background to be able to build small tools for the team internally or offer detailed feedback to the Product team who is building internal tools for CloudFactory’s teams.

As a manager, you will be responsible for a team of people and need to feel comfortable connecting with them and grooming them to lead the next set of your team. To truly thrive in this role, you will need an equal blend of technical as well as interpersonal skills. 

The Experience: 

You would need some technical expertise to be able to build some simple MVP systems and understand the technical background in our platforms. 3-5 years of working experience with diverse teams, data quality tracking and leadership roles are required along with strong written and oral communication skills. A few pluses would be: a proven track record of creating strong tactical plans and managing high performing teams, strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills, great time and project management skills and in-depth experience in overseeing Data Quality in other similar operations.
