Data QA Analyst

GrowByData is looking for a talented Data QA Analyst to develop and execute exploratory tests as well as automated tests in order to ensure product quality.

TITLE: DATA QA ANALYST

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven working experience in data quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of data QA methodologies and tools
• Passionate about learning and self-motivated; drive to contribute ideas and share knowledge proactively; must be a team player
• General understanding of data models & database management systems and familiarity with MS SQL Server would be a plus (i.e. must have conceptual knowledge of DBMS, be able to understand the logical structure of a database, and should be able to write basic SQL queries)
• Able to work independently and think outside the box with strong research and writing skills
• Ability to function in a high-volume setting with tight deadlines
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and follow up communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect and execute data analytics testing
• Raising data quality and performance levels in Data Services Team
• Review data loaded into the data warehouse for accuracy
• Recommend maintenance enhancements to data acquisition processes to improve accuracy of operational data
• Extract and Analyze information from various sources
• Develop reporting and analysis to drive improvement of the business
• Organize all consumption anomalies and determine defects for data and prepare appropriate resolutions
• Comfortable working with large sets of data
• Maintain and escalate issues to lead as required
• Proactively improving the quality of company reporting
• Design and develop additional data quality monitoring based on requirements gathered from business units

EDUCATION: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.

EXPERIENCE: 1 plus year of prior experience in a relevant field would be preferred and favorable.
