Content Writer

The Content Writer carries out the responsibilities of producing effective and engaging digital and print content for in-house products.

Other Responsibilities

• Writes clear and concise instructional and user content of the company’s applications, and deliver exciting and insightful marketing content to achieve strategic marketing goals.
• Write, proofread and edit website content for clarity, grammar, spelling, and style.
• Work across the company with other writers, designers, developers & Managers to produce creative, original and stylish content that meets the business goals of assigned projects.
• Write high-impact action driven communications such as articles, PRs, blogs, ads, emails, video scripts, news, product information sheets and other web content required.
• Create content for promotional materials pertaining to marketing and SEO related activities. 
• Write and edit best practice guides, eBooks, white papers, solution briefs, application notes, case studies, and presentations.
• Timely research on new ideas and facts; and implement in writing

Education: Graduate from recognized university with major subject as English (IT/Engineering background would be an added advantage)

Requirements

• Few years of proven experience in web content writing.
• Experience in technical writing and technical editing. 
• Demonstrated ability to write concise, and logical content that is grammatically and stylistically correct.
• Familiarity with internet marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or web development is a plus.
• Knowledge of Information Development Life Cycle of a Technical Product (preferable). 
• Must be very able to work under very little or no supervision and be a good team player
• Detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to multiple projects.
• Highly creative, and excellent on writing in number of different styles/tones
• Great research, organizational, and learning skill
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
