Call for Applications for Consultant.

Restless Development, the youth-led development agency, has been the global leader in engaging and supporting young people to address the most urgent issues affecting their lives, communities and countries since 1985. Currently, Restless Development Nepal is working in formal partnership with Ministry of Youth and Sports and multiple bilateral organizations.

Restless Development (Nepal) is implementing a project, Hamro Sawal Hamro Sahabhagita in partnership with UNICEF for Adolescent of Nepal in Mugu, Humla, Bajura, Achham, Saptari, and Dhanusa districts. Restless Development together with Ministry of Youth and Sports, Department of Women and Children, Unicef, UNFPA and other civil society organizations has developed holistic social and financial package for adolescent ‘Rupantaran’.

Restless Development is now seeking highly motivated and dynamic individuals to be a consultant with following responsibilities;  

Responsibilities

·         Deliver the social and financial package for adolescent ‘Rupantaran’ to the participants from Nepal Scouts, District Women and Children Office and other implementing partners ;

·         Involve in the process of training design, preparation of report and report sharing

·         Put monitoring tool in place developed by Restless Development and submit the tool after putting the observation of training

·         Be available on pre-training orientation workshop and post training review and debrief 

·         Work in close coordination with Programme Manager  

Required Qualifications

·         A relevant University degree in Social Sciences and any other discipline

·         At least 4 years experience on training designing and delivery

·         Experience on working directly with youth including facilitating youth groups in discussions on sensitive topics (such as sexuality), especially working with adolescents

·         Experience of training delivery to Government officials  

·         Good interpersonal, communication, negotiation and facilitation skills

·         Strategic thinking skill and the strong team player ability
