Community Mobilization Component of EGRP in Surkhet District

Center for Depressed and Ethnic Development (CODED-NEPAL), is a non-profit, secular and non-political social organization. It is legally registered at District Administration Office; Surkhet dated 2061 BS and formally registered at Social Welfare Council, Kathamandu. It has been established to actively involved to work with backward community such as Dalit and Indigenous, senior citizen, women and children, war and natural disaster victims, human rights, Good Governance, water and sanitation, climate change, peace and environment. It has been working on Social mobilization ,peace promotion, education, Disaster management, support to ,Dalit empowerment, youth mobilization ,Sanitation ,poverty alleviation ,Good governance collaboration with different supportive agencies such as Nepal Government ministry of women, child and social welfare, youth and sports ,LGCDP,LGAF,INF surkhet program, District Development Committee Surkhet ,District Education Office surkhet ,International Rescue Committee(IRC) ,CARITAS Nepal ,Nepal Government Poverty Alleviation Fund(PAF) ,Right Triangle Institute International (RTI) ,Karnali Province Government Ministry of Social Development etc. . 

CODED-Nepal has been implementing and managing Early Grade Reading Program(EGRP) community Mobilization component in collaboration with RTI International since 15 May 2018 in Surkhet. The overall purpose of the community mobilization of EGRP is to increase family and community support for improvement of early grade reading for children from grade one to three CODED-Nepal  has been working directly with School, SMC, PTA, Early Grade Reading sub-committee and all relevant community forums in close coordination with Education Development and Coordination Unit and Local Education, Youth and Sports Section (LEYS)  of municipalities in local for implementing activities related to community mobilization of EGRP in Surkhet .

CODED-Nepal is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions to implement community mobilization component of EGRP in Surkhet district. The last date of application is July 15, 2019 office time in vacancy.surkhet@gmail.com.
