One Heart Worldwide (OHW) is an International Non-Governmental Organization that has been working in the area of Maternal and Neonatal Health (MNH) since 2011. OHW works with local communities and local health service providers to develop a culturally appropriate Network of Safety around mothers and infants, by raising awareness, teaching good practices, and distributing essential equipment to ensure that mothers and infants survive delivery and the first months of life.

Call for Proposal
One Heart World-Wide (OHW) is an international Non-Government Organization that has been working in the area of maternal and neonatal health for the past ten years. OHW is currently working in ten districts of Nepal and scaling up its program in few new districts.
OHW is seeking proposals from competent research agencies to conduct a baseline survey of the new program districts (Nuwakot, Ramechhap and Solukhumbu) to allow monitoring and evaluation of its program in future. The survey aims to determine the numbers of maternal, neonatal and infant deaths in the past 3 years and then to estimate maternal mortality ratio, neonatal mortality rate and infant mortality rate.
The research agency is required to submit a technical and cost proposal along with profile of the organization, experiences in similar types of work, institutional capacity and CVs of proposed key staff to carry out the survey.

Terms and Conditions
- Proposal should be submitted in one sealed envelope by 5:00 PM 2 May 2018, Wednesday at One Heart World-Wide Office, Maharajgunj.
- Supporting Documents to be submitted: Company registration certificate, VAT registration certificate, Latest tax clearance certificate.
- If any documents/information is not available or not applicable, the reason(s) must be clarified in the form.
- Please mention ‘Call for Proposal’ in the envelope;
- The contract shall be awarded based on OHW’s requirement and policies;
OHW will sign an agreement with the selected agency for providing this service. However, OHW reserves the rights to reject any or all bids without assigning any reasons whatever.
