Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN) is a Nepalese non-governmental development organization working in the areas of integrated community development, agriculture, forestry, human rights, peace building and social justice, having strategic focus on protecting and promoting economic, social and cultural rights and right to development. We also work extensively on natural resource management, disaster management and climate change adaptation and mitigation activities. Its major interventions are directed towards poor, vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of people in rural areas.

Call for proposal on Marketing and Value Chain study of agriculture commodities in selected wards (former 6 VDCs ) in Dolakha District
RRN is implementing the project entitled "Community Initiative in Livelihood and Rehabilitation in Response to Earthquake in Nepal (CILLREN) 2015, as a post-disaster response to the earthquake devastation in selected wards (formerly VDCs) of Dolakha district. The project is focusing to enhance the livelihoods of earthquake affected communities by improving the farming activities in Boach, Lankuridanda Bhusafeda, Magapauwa, Katakuti and Tamchet Dudhpokhari earlier as VDCs and now four wards of Sailung rural municipality and two wards of Bhimeswar municipality. This project is also working to promote marketing of the agriculture commodities such as cereal crops ( maize, finger millet, buckwheat, barley) vegetables, potato, fruits, etc. and value chain of potato, kiwi fruit and other high value cash crops being produced in specially from the project area of Dolakha district. So, to carry out this study we are looking consultant as a team of individuals or a firm and invited to submit financial and technical proposal to RRN Head Office, Gairidhara in a sealed envelope before 5 PM of 4th August 2017.
