Practical Action is a UK based charity organisation established in 1966 with the objective of reducing poverty through wider use of appropriate technologies in developing countries. With the Head Office in the UK, Practical Action works through its Country and Regional Offices in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Sudan, Zimbabwe and Peru. Practical Action is working in Nepal since 1979 and the current strategy; 2012 - 2017, focuses on four broad programme areas namely 1) Agriculture and Food Security, 2) Urban Services, 3) Disaster Risk Reduction, and 4) Access to Energy with Market and Climate Change as cross cutting themes.
Practical Action under Agriculture, Market and Food Security Programme has been implementing a three years project entitled “Promotion of Sustainable Agriculture for Nutrition and Food Security (POSAN FS)” in 4 districtsof Far Western Region in Nepal.
Practical Action is now seeking proposals from interested Consultant/firm for Final Evaluation & Outcome Assessment of “Promotion of Sustainable Agriculture for Nutrition and Food Security (POSAN FS) Project”.
