Rillmark Academy is a young and ambitious IT & digital training academy in Kathmandu. As a part of Rillmark Pvt. Ltd., Rillmark Academy aims to produce IT & digital marketing professionals who can compete in the national as well as international market. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the skill supply and skill demand in these sectors. We aspire to become the best Digital Marketing Training Academy in Kathmandu.

We are launching our Internationally Certified Digital Marketing Course and are looking for a Business Growth Manager with good understand of digital marketing.

Job Title: Business Growth Manager/ Senior Business Development Manager

Reporting to: Office Operation Manager

Reported by: 1 x Student Conversion Manager, 1 x Academy Administrator, 2 x Trainers

Salary: Rs 35000 - Rs 55000 base salary + OTE (depending on experience) plus various monthly expenses allowances. Lunch is provided.

The person will be involved in business development, with 70% anticipation on working outside office.

Core Purpose of the Job: To be the “growth” and business manager excelling Rillmark Academy, focussing mainly on the Digital Marketing Course

“Growth” is a shorthand term for the cycle of acquisition, activation, retention and reactivation of users or customers.

Type of Person Required: We are looking for someone with a proven track record of setting valuable meetings, communicating success stories and case studies and building the pipeline. You’ll need to be passionate, have strong change leadership skills and some digital marketing knowledge, with a drive and determination to succeed. An experienced skills strategist and business developer, you’ll be comfortable in shaping plans which deliver organisational growth and exceed customer expectations. 

Key areas of responsibilities: 

  • To develop an enquiry (lead) generation, enrollment and admission strategy mainly for the Digital Marketing course but also other courses at Rillmark Academy working together with the Conversion Manager and senior stakeholders
  • To research organisations to find new partners and identify who makes the decisions in these organisations
  • To ‘cold call’ (in-person and phone) to arrange meetings at partners’ premises
  • To reach out to and work closely with the decision makers of these partner organisations by building positive relationships (eg, College Principal, HOD, Placement Managers, Education Consultancy Owners and Managers, Student Counsellors, Corporate Sector Directors and Senior Managers - Banking, IGO/INGOs, and SMEs Heads, etc.)
  • To be able to prepare and deliver brilliant presentations and have excellent communication skills
  • To take full responsibility and accountability in driving lead generation (prospective students) and forecast sales targets and make sure they’re met 
  • To be a social player, having a very flexible approach to working hours with unrestrictive in-country travel
  • To attend events and conferences to gain information on market trends and competitors
  • To write clear and concise reports and be able to use ERP and other systems
  • To sell the course to new and existing prospects and to identify new methods and opportunities for sales campaigns
  • To support the Conversion Manager in designing and producing online marketing and print resource packs for Academy for use in applicant conversion
  • To able to provide input as business development manager in different aspects of Rillmark Pvt Ltd’s work and such other tasks as appropriate 

Person Specifications: 

  • Must be of entrepreneurial mindset with a hunger to grow businesses
  • Must be extremely well-presented, very smart and a forward-thinking individual (digital marketing advocate, preferable)
  • Must be very social, people person with ability to work very flexible hours
  • Minimum 3 years experience in related areas such as Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Business Growth
  • Must have good knowledge of Digital Marketing
  • Must be educated to a minimum of Bachelors level
  • Must have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Must be technology savvy to be able to use different tools required for admission management
  • Must be very proactive and not have the usual Nepali "bhai halcha ni" type work attitude
  • Ability to develop and deliver amazing presentations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Be able to drive a car (preferable)
  • Be able to statistical softwares (eg, SPSS, SAS, R, Stata, JMP) - (preferable)
