Position: Business Development Executive

JOB SUMMARY:

The Executive – Business Development shall perform all activities relates to exploring new market and business to meet the Organization’s yearly target. The job involves Sales visit, managing corporate customers, relationship building with intermediaries & customers, direct interaction with customers, in – shop promos, marketing activities, maintaining database and preparing Business Development report.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Business Development Executive shall carry out following activities:

Business Development Activities

  • Prospecting potential clients and their information through possible sources.
  • Regular e-mailing and tele-marketing activities.
  • Regular sales visit to the customers.
  • Preparing proposals, presentations, reports, recommendation letters or any other related write up.
  • Actively participate in promotional activities like service presentations, preparing write up for broachers, newsletters, advertisements etc.
  • Keep updated about the tender/bid notice, advertisement or any other write up related to company’s services.
  • Handle customer queries and complains.
  • Achieve individual & group sales target.
  • Work as a team & maintain healthy relationship with all colleagues of the Organization.
  • Carry out research activities like corporate survey, consumer survey, etc as instructed by Management 
  • Introduce new ways of reaching out to prospective clients

Relationship Building

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to build sales and successful business relationship.
  • Face to Face Meeting.
  • Follow up call/mail/visit.
  • Occasion [Dashain, Tihar, New Year etc.], Birthday, Anniversary wish.
  • Ensure smooth transfer of product/service to the customer’s work place.

Maintain Database

  • Maintain corporate database
  • Maintain database relating to new prospects
  • Maintain e-mail database
  • Maintain other database as per requirement.

Business Development Report.

  • Prepare Daily / weekly/ quarterly/ yearly revenue reports as defined by Management
  • Update BD-DOI as per requirement.
  • Continuously provide market information on competition, new services, promotional activities, etc
  • Give input to enhance existing services & develop/ introduce new services

Sales Target and Incentive.

  • Ensure that the sales target of the company is achieved which can be reviewed in weekly/quarterly meeting which decides the incentive amount as per the incentive scheme approved by the management.

Others

  • Carry out any other activities as instructed by the Management.

Expected Outcome:

  • To devise proper system of BD and ensure it implementation. The system should be documented.
  • To introduce new ways of reaching out to prospective clients
  • To ensure Company’s profitability & growth
  • To support CEO in exploring new markets, new businesses
  • Exceptional professional relationship with customers & sales channel.
  • Extensive database management, reporting & market information system.
  • To act as a backup for the core team members
  • Support CEO in all types of new businesses
  • To participate in overall activities of the Company – provide suggestions, feedback to other departments

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor in Business Administration or Equivalent
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Nepali
  • Two Wheeler driving License
