Assistant Manager for British company in Kathmandu 

Work the World is a British company that specialises in arranging hospital based experiences for international healthcare students. We require a professional, experienced and energetic person to help lead our established programme in Kathmandu. This is a challenging and varied role, assisting in the management of a small staff team, supporting international students undertaking placements at local hospitals, and maintaining strong relationships with our partner hospitals.

  • Applicants must be willing and able to live and work in Kathmandu
  • The nature of the role means that early morning, evening and weekend work shall be required
  • Monthly net salary of 27,000 – 29,500 NRP depending on experience 

Appicants must have: 

  • Excellent spoken & written English
  • Knowledge and interest in the healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Strong problem solving ability & computer skills
  • Ability to enthusiastically engage with customers when undertaking weekly student progress monitoring and when taking groups of students on Kathmandu City orientation days 

Strong preference will be given to applicants who have experience working with foreigner visitors, for example in the tourist industry.
