Agriculture Technician

GEYC Nepal a leading NGO working in the field of Community Development, especially in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WASH) is seeking dynamic and result-oriented candidates for an INGO funded WASH, Agriculture, Food Security and Livelihood (AFSL) integrated project.  

Post: Agriculture Technician

Duty Station: Bidur, Nuwakot and Field 

Job Type: Fixed term Contract

Salary: Negotiable

Required Qualification and Skills

• JTA or similar qualification 
• 2 years work experience in related field
• Skill on communication and reporting 
• Skill on different field level training conduction and facilitation 
• Knowledge and skill on group mobilization
• Skill on community level agricultural activities conduction  and promotion

Responsibilities 

• Conduct agriculture based training and activities in community
• Distribution and demonstration agricultural activities
• Community mobilization and support
• Provide counselling support to farmers in community
• Promote agriculture, food security, livelihood support activities 
• Link WASH and AFSL activities
