Unification Nepal Gorkha (UN-Nepal), registered in the District Administration Office (DAO) Gorkha and Social Welfare Council (SWC) in the year 2009, is a non-profit making child-focused organization formed by a team of youth NGO professionals for sustainable development across the country. It is autonomous and politically non partisan organization which is governed by its constitution, financial and administrative policy and code of conduct and other various policies. The organization is implementing various projects with multiple donors and INGOs at Gorkha district and few projects are under pipeline.

It is autonomous and politically non partisan organization which is governed by its statutory/ constitution, financial and administrative policy and code of conduct and other various policies. We have some project with joint venture/ collaboration with different external development partner. This time we are seeking qualified and dynamic Admin and Finance Officer for Oxfam funded Nepal Earthquake Response Project for Gorkha district: 

Position: Admin and Finance Officer- 1

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all administrative and financial records and reports.
  • Coordinate with project staffs for logistic support to functioning project's events. 
  • Ensure organizational procedures for monitoring and analyzing project budgets, which allow accurate projection of expenditures and comparisons of actual and budgeted spending pattern. 
  • Ensure consistency with Unification Nepal Gorkha's operating procedures, policies and accounting principles along with donor compliance.
  • Manage the accounting, finance and administration components of the program, including petty cash funds and office finance, accounting and administrative activities. 
  • Assist on project quotation/ tendering and procurement related activities. 
  • Ensure on regular and timely financial expenditure reports. 
  • Coordinate with funding organization for monthly fund requests, based on budget and cash flow projections, to ensure the project has all necessary funds for operations. 
  • Properly maintain all inventory related to project. 
  • Ensure to pay all necessary expenses related to project including tax on monthly basis. 
  • Maintain financial files and assist on audit propose. 

Requirements: 

  • At least BBS with 3 years experience in administrative and accounts/ finances areas is required. Strong computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel, power point and Word, able to communicate in English.
