Build Change

Founded in 2004, Build Change is an innovative international non‐profit social enterprise whose mission is to save lives in earthquakes and hurricanes. Position Description

Build Change is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Account Trainee. This position will report to Finance & Administration Manager

 Responsibilities:

  • To assist Finance department by verifying invoices & records, proper filing and documentation of financial records;
  • To Ensue all payments amounts & records are accurate
  • Make a bank deposit and follow up;
  • Assist Finance and Admin Manager and Account Officer to manager day-to-day transactions;
  • Check all financial transactions and maintained accuracy and consistency;
  • Assist in reconciliation of transactions, financial data, and other information;
  • Follow up for the rental payment and others

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Management, or Finance
  • At least 1 year of experience in financial or accounting management of non-profit or equivalent organizations will be an added advantage
  • Attention to detail and quality control
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and other Office applications
  • Strong understanding of humanitarian principles/development ethics 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
