Restless Development Nepal runs various programme which focuses on girl’s education, holistic development of adolescents, ending child marriage, promote youth engagement in community development, abolition of discrimination during menstruation and on youth accountability.

Restless Development seeks to recruit dynamic, inspired and innovative Nepalese to fill following roles.

 

1. Senior  Programme Manager – 1 Position

Key Priorities

·   ProgrammeStrategy and Quality:Develop programme designs, objectives, and logistical frameworks of programme and project in line with Global Strategy and National Priorities. Manage regular programme review workshops/meetings to ensure that monitoring data information, programme implementation and development to meet recommendation that are received form field & evaluation/research report.

·   Organizational strategy and direction: Manage programme priorities through the development and regular review of unit operational plans and implementation calendars. Oversee development of training materials, manuals development as well as delivery of training modules drawing on best practice internally, nationally and internationally.

·   People Management and Development: Manage Programme staff through monthly meetings/updates, monitoring work, schedule work plans and review. Support staff through entire performance management cycle with regular performance Management Plan and reviews.

·   Investment and Partnership Management:  Support fundraising through report and proposal writing, budget and concept development, partner meetings, and field visits, develop new programme and projects framework based on community need and prepare necessary budget for projects and programmes.

·   Financial Management: Coordinate with theFinanceandAdministrationManager, Develop/revise annual budgets of programme unit activities, monitor programme unit spending to ensure it is within budget. Ensure finance policies and procedures are adhered to by programme staff.

 

2.     Finance & Admin Manager – 1 Position

Key Priorities

·   Financial Management: lead the consolidation of financial plans, budgets and forecasts, prepare annual financial statements, produce monthly management accounts, monitor cash flow, ensure all the staff and volunteers are adhering to financial procedure and policies and ensure the regular line management meetings.

·   Accounting: with support from finance and administration coordinators ensure that the accounting records and books of accounts are kept up to date across all field offices, maintain the financial force, ensure the payment to supplies and/or project are in accordance with regulations and plan/budget of Restless Development and ensure the bank reconciliation. 

·   Field Office/PNGOs Support and Coordination:build the capacity of partner NGOs on budget, reporting and other financial procedure, ensure the field expenses are recorded in line with correct budget codes, track the fund advance and expenditures.

 

- Office Administration and Management: develop and maintain administrative systems, responsible for procurement of general items according to the organizational policy, liaise with legal advisor on legal status and coordinate the organization registration process.

 

- Strategic planning and management: serve as an active member of management committee and contribute to Restless Development’s Global Strategy ad Direction.

 

·People Management and Development:work with Head of Operations on staff recruitment, selection and orientation, designing and leading training and other capacity building initiatives for staff in finance admin unit and strengthen internal control systems and processes for shared learning between the units across the organization.

 

 3. Monitoring Evaluation & Learning Manager – 1 Position

Key Priorities

·   Monitoring and Reporting:Ensure that all Restless Development Nepal projects have appropriate monitoring and reporting indicators and tools in place, Build the capacity of the programme and M&E team in monitoring, reporting and data analysis.

 

·   Evaluation and Research:Lead in the management of evaluation projects, such as baseline, midterm and endline surveys, including designing, budgeting, planning for data collection, analysis and report writing, innovate in the measurement of the effectiveness of Restless Development’s programmes.

 

·   Sharing and Learning: Stay up to date with current good practices in monitoring and evaluation both within Restless Development internationally as well as externally.

 

·   Program Strategy and quality: Develop appropriate logical frameworks and indicators for all programmes and projects, contribute to program design and development at proposal development stage, collaborate with the programme managers in planning and managing regular programme review workshops to ensure that evaluation and monitoring data informs programmes, plan and manage regular field visits to monitor the proper program implementation against the project indicators.

 

·   Fundraising and Marketing: Provide monitoring and evaluation data for marketing and fundraising purposes,        including donor reports, produce documents including case studies, study briefs, and impact briefs for use by the fundraising and marketing team.

 

·   Resource Management and Capacity Building: Manage MEL staff through monthly meetings/updates, monitoring work, schedule work plans and review. Support M&E staff through entire performance management cycle with regular objective setting and reviews.

 

·   Strategic Management and Planning: Serve as an active member of the Nepal Management Committee, providing guidance and expertise on monitoring and evaluation issues.
