Workforce Systems Manager

Chemonics International, an implementing partner of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), seeks qualified candidates for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain (GHSC) - Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) project in Nepal. GHSC-PSM will serve as the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve Nepal’s management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international and local stakeholders to support U.S. government-funded public health initiatives in Nepal.

We are looking for a Workforce Systems Manager with at least 7 years of experience in organizational capacity building in public health program management, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies and/or supply chain management systems. The Workforce Systems Manager will develop and implement strategies to build the capacity of supply chain professionals in Nepal, based on an understanding of root barriers to workforce performance and motivation, and approaches that are based on evidence and international research. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in training, capacity building, workforce development, or human resource management.
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field; advanced degree in organizational psychology, management, education/pedagogy or similar field preferred.
• Skilled in leading and managing high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cooperating partners in implementing complex programs.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills; proven diplomatic and public relations skills.​
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Nepali and English required.
