Workforce Development Specialist

Chemonics International, an implementing partner of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), seeks qualified candidates for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain (GHSC) - Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) project in Nepal. GHSC-PSM will serve as the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve Nepal’s management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international and local stakeholders to support U.S. government-funded public health initiatives in Nepal.

We are looking for a Workforce Development Specialist with minimum 4 years of experience in training, capacity building, workforce development, or human resource management. The Workforce Development Specialist with will support efforts to build the capacity and improve the performance of supply chain professionals in Nepal. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred. Academic background in organizational psychology, management, education/pedagogy or similar field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in training, capacity building, workforce development, or human resource management.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
• Proficiency in Nepali and English required.
