Training cum Clinical Supervisor
Details / requirements:
Social Welfare Association of Nepal (SWAN), a leading NGO of Nepal working in the field of health, education and community development invites application from a qualified and competent Nepali candidate for the post of Training cum Clinical Supervisor to implement Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (MNCH) project in Baglung district, funded by One Heart World Wide (OHWW), Nepal.
Number of position: 1
Period: 6 months only
Duty Station: Baglung district
Major responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of District Coordinator, the incumbent (Training cum Clinical Supervisor) will be responsible for the following jobs:
- Conduct training to the health workers and Community health volunteers, especially that of Birth Preparedness Package with Misoprostol.
- Follow up the Quality of Care at Birthing Centers at community level and other implemented projects.
- Provide technical backstopping to the community health facilities and health workers on MNCH issues.
- Prepare monthly reports, TSV data entry and conduct joint monitoring and facilitative supervision with the government stakeholders to the Birthing Centres and other Health Facilities.
- Support district coordinator in the regular implementation of the planned activities.
- Regular interaction with stakeholders and liaison with health facilities and FCHVs to ensure effectiveness and quality of program.
Desired competencies:
- Having experience in Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health (CBNCP, BPP, Misoprostol) is a good asset.
- Good training facilitation skills
- Good coordination and people management skills
- Have good spoken and written skills in Nepali and English
- Self motivated, friendly and able to work in team
- Willing to work in field
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills (Ms-Office including Email & internet)
Educational qualification and Work Experience
Staff Nurse with 2 years experience or ANM with at least 5 years of work experience in the related field (SBA trained staff nurse/ANM will be given priority)
Salary: as per the organizational policy
