Seeking Independent Trainers

 

FundsforNGOs specializes in international fundraising and advises and supports NGOs around the world on how to effectively raise funds and achieve their goals.

FundsforNGOs Nepal is seeking independent trainers to support its need for external support in conducting trainings. A key responsibility will be to deliver multi-day trainings on a range of fundraising topics- meeting the needs of a particular assignment within agreed timescales. Training courses are organized globally, and experienced trainers from around the world are invited to apply.  

Education: Bachelor (BA, BS, etc.) 

Location: Kathmandu, Nepal

Area of Focus: Economic Development, Foundations, Fundraising, and Philanthropy, Human Rights and Civil Liberties, International Relations 

Essential Requirements: 

  • Proven track record in raising funds for human rights and/or development programs with a minimum 5 years progressive experience in fundraising from institutional (e.g. USAID, EC, DFID, US and European Foundations) and individual donors.  
  • Experience in delivering training courses to a variety of civil society/NGO participants from a range of countries, and with various levels of capacity 
  • International work experience 
  • Fluency in English required, fluency in at least one other language desired
  • Ability to travel and deliver training independently
