Store Keeper

GEMS School is looking for a competent, dynamic and experienced candidate for the post of Store Keeper.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum two years of experience in a similar post.

SKILLS AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have knowledge and experience in storekeeping 
• Knowledge in basic bookkeeping
• Must pay attention to detail

BASIC TASKS:

• Store and release supplies or equipment
• Compile the records of the supplies/goods
• Verifying the supplies from time to time
• Keeping record of the number and the kinds of supplies
• Checking possible damages or scratches on goods arrival

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; processes and distributes documentation with purchase orders and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.
• To fill supply requisitions and assist procurement officer to order supplies 
• To deliversupplies to various offices/classrooms and staff upon approval of requisition
• To issue material only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes
