Details / requirements:

Job title: Senior HTML5 / Mobile App Developer
Reporting to: Human Resource Department
Hours: Full - Time 
Location: Kathmandu. No travel required.
Purpose of the position: To work in the team with primarily responsible for designing and monitoring the layout, visual appearance and usability of a website/ mobile Application. Using a combination of graphic design skills and technical knowledge of how web pages / mobile Apps are created, the developer should work in the team to develop applications that are visually appealing, functionally sound and standards compliant.

 Key responsibilities & duties:
  • Fulfill responsibilities of a Senior HTML5/ Mobile Application Developer.
  • Interpret client needs and express those needs and goals.
  • Work in the team with supervision from the Team Lead and Project Leader while mentoring web developers and interns.
  • Advise/ Assist in creating designs, convert site designs provided in different formats (PSD, In Design) into HTML and XHTML, and other design elements to junior designers.
  • Creative development of Websites and Mobile applications using HTML5.
  • Perform basic and advance SEO
  • Keep abreast of and utilize contemporary practices, trends and technologies in layout, design and production of text and graphics for online and mobile media.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Work experience & competencies:
  • An Art, Design, Media based or relevant Undergraduate Degree.
  • A strong portfolio displaying user-centered design with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Technical Knowledge and Skills
  • Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash.
  • Ability to write w3c complaint XHTML/CSS and HTML5/CSS3 codes. HTML 5 is a must.
  • Able to create mobile applications using HTML5.
  • Knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques.
  • Ability to create themes and templates for opensource frameworks like joomla!, wordpress, drupal, magento etc.
Other Competencies:
  • A flexible attitude with proven experience of working in a small team.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be fluent in English ( both written and spoken)
  • Good learning attitude and adaptive learning abilitie.
  • Mentoring skills desirable
