Senior JAVA Engineer

ZurelSoft is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated and dedicated Senior Software Engineers – JAVA who will be responsible for:

• Designing, Developing, Implementing  and maintaining SaaS applications
• Designing, building and maintaining reliable and reusable Java code.
• Making sure the applications perform to a high level and are responsive.
• Identifying potential issues and finding possible solutions.
• Preparation and producing the release of software components.
• Assisting in continuous improvement by looking for alternative technologies and presenting them to the relevant individuals for review.
• Recommendation of systems solutions by comparing the pros and cons of custom development and buying alternatives.

Required Skills: Candidate must possess hands on experience of minimum 2 years in designing and developing applications using JAVA/J2EE platforms with following skill sets:

• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (class loading, memory management, transaction management etc.).
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate.
• Experience in developing web applications using Spring.
• Experience with test-driven development.
• Strong analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Familiar with Agile Development process.

Strong Communication skills, Team adaptability, sound attitude and eager to learn. 

Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
