Job Description:

The position will assist Grants and Contract Manager in the implementation of various programs of Internatioanl Medical Corps, and play a key role in positioning International Medical Corps intervention for documentations electronic and hard copies, appropriate filing and sharing the documents among program teams as and when needed. The position will be based in Kathmandu with substaintial time to be spent on compliance monitoring, capacity building of subgrantee at Kathmandu and the districts.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain country office sub award files electronic and hard copies (sub award agreements, risk assessments, modifications key correspondence, donor approvals etc.

- Monitor the sub recipient compliance with the sub award terms and applicable donor requirements

- Advise relevant staff of the sub grantee on compliance issues.

- Ensure regular reporting of sub award programs.

- Identify and provide sub recipients capacity and prepare capacity building plan on administration and compliance related subjects.

- Assist the  GCM on sub award kick-off meeting.

- Assist the GCM for tracking sub award monitor.ing efforts by IMC

- Assist the review of application, organisational eligibility and support on application evaluation meeting as and when needed.

- Assits with the sub award close out and internal/external audit reviews

- Perform field visits to sub grantee's office and review their financial and other documents to meet the compliance properly.

- Work with program staff to ensure the coordination of programs is within budgeted targets.

- Develop & support in implementation of evidence based data management practices.

- Develop and revise data compilation and tracking format related to grants.

 
Minimum Education and Qualifications:

- Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Business Studies or relevant subjects. Candidates can apply who has completed Articleship of CA and attempting final exam.

- Minimum 2 years of experience on working with NGOs/INGOs in development sector.

- Good knowledge and/or first hand experience on financial management and administration system and policies.

- Excellent speaking and writing skill both in Nepali and English.

- Good knowledge on financial review and reporting, evaluating internal control systems, governance issues  of an organisation.

Very good knowledge on e-filing systems

 Additional Requirement

- Willingness to travel to program districts frequently.

- Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment with limited supervision.

- Willingness to bring innovation, tackle challenges and produce deliverables within assigned timeline.
