REQUEST FOR APPLICATION (RFA)

from civil society organizations and media organizations to effectively engage government and advocate for policy reform, and provide oversight on public resource use and public service delivery in districts

FHI 360, an international non-governmental organization, is seeking an Application from registered non-profit civil society organizations and media organizations to effectively engage with government and advance public interests through evidence based advocacy & provide oversight on public resource use and public service delivery in 34 districts (20 CDCS and 14 earthquake- affected districts).Selected organizations will work as implementing partner agency (IA) for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)-funded Civil Society: Mutual Accountability Project (CS: MAP).

Interested Nepali civil society organizations and media organizations are requested to submit an Application based on the guidelines for preparation of the Application. The selection process involves review of Applications and an onsite organizational pre-appraisal of the shortlisted applicants. Guidelines for preparation of Application can be requested through email at nepal.eoi@fhi360.org or a hard copy can be collected from FHI 360 Nepal Country Office reception desk between 9:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday). A question and answer session will be held on October 25, 2016 in Kathmandu and on October 27, 2016 in Nepalgunj. Interested organizations may contact FHI 360 office by phone or email by October 21, 2016 for details on venue and time for the session.

Deadline for submission of Application is November 17, 2016, 5:00 p.m. (In case of submission through postal mailing address, only envelopes postmarked before the deadline date will be considered). Application received after the deadline will not be considered for evaluation.
