Quality Assurance Manager

Job Description:

Javra Software is currently hiring Manager of Software QA, leading the team to set standards in QA/ QC department, safeguarding the exit criteria of product entering UAT and go LIVE phase. This position is requires detail planning, implementing and execution the QA processes per customer’s requirement and software development standards.

Role and Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Lead  and establish the company's quality procedures to ensure quality delivery
• Lead the composition and execution of test plan and test cases for each project
• Organize and hold defect review meeting to mandate the defect fix cycle by a measurable data
• Responsible for the content of  XEPST (Internal System) defect and ticket tracking systems
• Participate in the early project design phase to understand testability of components
• Define exit criteria with project managers of each product for quality product delivery.
• Ensure the continuous improvement process.
• Define and mandate the defect severity of every defect log in the tracker, to ensure attention are given by the development team to address the priority issue in a timely manner.
• Introduce and implement test automation for relevant product development and maintenance.
• Lead, design and create test environment for simulating live structure

Requirements and Qualifications:

•    Master’s Degree in a related field.
•    5 years or more experience in QA/QC management.

You have the following experience and profile:

• Sound knowledge on SDLC
• Expert level user of any defect tracking tool
• Excellent knowledge on configuration management (SVN)
• Writing technical and commercial documentation.
• Successfully lead quality standard team

You are:

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• 30 years or above.
• Able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Familiar with Programming fundamentals
• Ability to manage team, resolve disputes and foresee potential cost or schedule issues.
