Quality Assurance Engineer

Investfly.com is a hot startup company based in the United States, Mountain View, CA. We provide software-as-a-service that enables stock traders and investors all around the world to develop their investment strategies.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and execute exploratory tests as well as automated tests in order to ensure product quality.

As a QA Engineer you will estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities. You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved in our tracking system.

Job Description

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Write automation test using Selenium in JAVA
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Understand the business logic from user perspective

Job Requirement

• At least 1 year of working experience in software quality assurance and writing automation test cases.
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Can write manual test plan for every features of our product
• Understands the importance of quality and procedures to ensure it
• Understand SDLC, familiar with Agile (Scrum) development process
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Preferred

• Familiar with Linux environment and tools
• Experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Basic knowledge on JSON, RDBMS systems and SQL
• Some knowledge in economics and finance
