Nepal Public Health Foundation (NPHF) was established in April 2010 with a mission to have concerted public health action, research, and policy dialogue for health development, particularly of the socio-economically marginalized population. Nepal Public Health Foundation (NPHF) is urgently seeking a dynamic, energetic individuals for the project "Strengthening and Activating District Health System (SAHaS)" .SAHaS project will be implemented in nine earthquake affected district: Dhading, Nuwakot, Gorkha, Lalitpur, Kavrepalanchowk, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Solukhumbu and Okhaldunga.
Position: Project Officer (2)
Reports to: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Duty Station: Dhading, Nuwakot, Gorkha, Lalitpur, Kavrepalanchowk, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Solukhumbu and Okhaldunga
Required Qualification: Bachelor in Public Health (BPH) with 1 year work experience in related field
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience of planning and implementation of health activities
- Familiarity with the structure and functions of district health system
- Knowledge of monitoring,
- Good interpersonal and communication skill and ability to coordinate the team and the government counterparts
- Fluent spoken and written English and Nepali
- Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent report writing and data analysis skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Co-ordination (external /internal)
- Monitoring and supervision of social mobilizers
- Plan and organize bi-monthly review meeting
- Prepare monthly work plan of social mobilizers and share it during the review meeting Field visit to assure the task progress
- Support to formation of peer advocacy group
- Reporting to M&E officer in every 15 days
- Co-ordinate with NGOs and other government organizations like: DHO, DDC working with similar objectives
Salary: Negotiable
Duration: 7 Months
