Aasaman Nepal (ASN) with the vision of happy and healthy children is currently working in 16 districts of Nepal, irrespective of geographical location. Dedicated to children's education, health and rights, ASN works in various developmental themes; Health and nutrition, education, child protection, natural resource management, livelihood, and humanitarian response.

Details / requirements:

As leading NGO, Aasaman Nepal has been engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed to protection, promotion and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Since its inception in 1999, ASN has continuously been active in the development of children in terms of education, child rights, health and nutrition and livelihood. 

ASN is about to implement “Trans Boundary Flood Resilience in Kamla River Basin” in partnership with LWR (Lutheran World Relief) and WHH (Welthungerhilfe) in Siraha Municipality of Siraha district from 2018 and thus is  currently looking for following experienced and dynamic team players for the positions mentioned below:

Position: Project Coordinator-1 (Siraha Based Full Time)

Key Responsibilities: Overall responsible for the planning, coordination with line agencies, implementation, monitoring, documentation and reporting of Trans Boundary Flood Resilience in Kamla River Basin project. Manage & facilitate Training and workshop, Supervise, monitoring and reporting and Liaise, coordination with line agencies and visitors to build rapport and smooth implementation of activities

Qualification and Experience Required

  • At least Master Degree preferably in Social Science related fields. 
  • At least three years working experience in program management preferably in CB-DRR and Early Warning sector. 
  • Proven Report Writing and Data analysis skill
  • Strong communication and liaison skills along with basic knowledge of DRR components, livelihood and nutrition components.

Age Limit: Candidates between 21 years to 45 years are only eligible to apply for all the above posts.
